Knights
Landing Sportsmen's Club - Rules of Conduct
- You are a guest of the farmer. Please act
accordingly. Courtesy and respect for property are demanded as a condition of
membership.
- Your backtag must be worn and must be visible at
all times while hunting in the KLSC hunting area. Do not wear your backtag
under your hunting coat or raingear. If you must wear raingear, we suggest
taping a large ziploc bag to the back of your raincoat. Duct tape works
perfectly. Your backtag may then be inserted or removed easily.
- You may hunt only in fields that are posted with
the sign shown here. You may not hunt anywhere that is not posted with this
sign. If you are going to hunt an area that is open to the general public,
(railroad rights of way, etc.) or private ground that you have written
permission to hunt, you must remove your KLSC backtag first.
- All Department of Fish & Game regulations must
be strictly obeyed.
- Firearms safety is required at all times. Good
judgment should be used whenever you are in close proximity to people,
buildings, equipment, etc. Remember - if in doubt - Don't Shoot!
- Do not trespass on the property of others. This has
sometimes been a problem in the past, especially around the Private Licensed
Pheasant Clubs adjacent to our hunting areas. This will not be tolerated.
Protect your membership - don't trespass.
- Do not litter. Garbage dumpsters are provided by
the Club. They are strategically located throughout the hunting area. Their
locations are indicated on your maps. Please use the dumpsters!
- If you see one of our hunting area signs that has
"fallen" down, please put it back up. You will be protecting your own hunting
privileges.
- There will be no Quad Runners and or Night Vision
Binoculars after the sun goes down.
- Quads - Can be used if disabled, and licensed to so
by The Department of Fish & Game.
- There will be no hunting after dark. The hunting
day ends at sunset and begins at 8:00 a.m.
- The limit on birds is 2 birds opeingin gdays and
then it will be 3 birds per day.
